We built WebAudit360 because the question "how is my site doing?" quietly changed meaning. For two decades it meant where do I rank? Increasingly it also means does the AI even mention me? Most audit tools still answer only the first question.
The gap we kept running into
There's no shortage of site auditors. Most grade the 2010 web competently: meta tags, keyword usage, broken links, backlinks. That's useful, and we check those things too. But none of the tools we tried answered the question that now decides a growing share of discovery: can a language model read this page, extract a clear answer, and cite it as the source? That question is the heart of Generative Engine Optimization.
It matters because of how answer engines behave. When ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity respond to a question, they don't return ten links — they return one answer assembled from a few sources. If your page isn't structured for extraction, you don't slip to the second page; you're simply not in the answer. A site can pass every traditional SEO check and still be invisible in the channel that's growing fastest. (Here's how GEO and SEO differ.)
What we do differently
- We grade for answers, not just rankings. Alongside the usual technical and SEO checks, we score answerability (does the page state its answers plainly?) and quotability (can a model lift a sentence and trust it?).
- One honest number, with the fixes attached. GEO, SEO, and technical sub-scores roll up into a single score — and every check that costs you points comes with the specific thing to change.
- Fast and free to start. Paste a URL, get a report in seconds. No crawl-budget negotiation, no sales call first.
- We hold ourselves to it. These pages are built to the standard we measure: clean structured data, an
llms.txt, AI crawlers welcomed inrobots.txt. If we wouldn't pass our own audit, we'd have no business running yours.
What we're honest about
WebAudit360 is in public beta, and GEO measurement as a field is young. Answer engines are opaque and change often; anyone selling a precise "AI ranking" is overselling. What we offer instead is a clear, defensible read on the inputs you control, with concrete fixes for each. We'd rather be useful and candid than impressive and vague. (Common questions are answered on our FAQ.)
Where we're headed
The roadmap is about turning a one-time score into an ongoing signal: saved audit history, monitoring with alerts when a score drops, PDF reports for sharing, deeper performance data, and more languages. The core promise won't change — a plain, accurate answer to whether the AI era can see your site, and what to do about it.
